电竞奥运会再生波折，国际奥委会终止和沙特合作

北京时间2025年10月30日，国际奥运会官网发布《国际奥委会关于奥运会电子竞技比赛的声明》，宣布经过与沙特奥委会和电竞世界杯基金会商议决定，双方共同同意终止他们在奥林匹克电子竞技赛事上的合作。国际奥委会表示，此项举措将使奥林匹克电子竞技赛事更好地与奥林匹克运动长期愿景相契合，国际奥委会致力于尽快举办首届电竞奥运会，更广泛地传播奥林匹克电子竞技赛事带来的机遇。今年2月11日，国际奥委会曾宣布与沙特奥林匹克和残奥委员会合作举办首届电竞奥运会。据介绍，国际奥委会与沙特奥林匹克和残奥委员会的合作期限为12年。该提案通过后，双方将立即着手选定赛事的举办城市和场馆，并对比赛时间、项目和选手晋级程序等细节进行确认。当时作为合作的一部分，电子竞技世界杯基金会（EWCF）成为奥运会电子竞技项目的创始合作伙伴。国际奥委会与沙特奥林匹克和残奥委员会成立了一个联合委员会来指导本次奥运会。该委员会由国际奥委会委员黄思绵担任主席，由阿卜杜勒阿齐兹·本·图尔基·费萨尔亲王殿下担任联合主席。来源：人民电竞微信公众号 广东
