美最高法院：特朗普政府可继续暂扣食品援助金

央视记者当地时间11日获悉，美国最高法院决定延长暂停执行一项地方法官命令的期限——该命令要求特朗普政府在11月全额发放“补充营养援助计划”（SNAP）救济金。
最高法院的这一行动使得特朗普政府目前可以继续暂扣约40亿美元的“补充营养援助计划”（SNAP）资金。
因资金耗尽，“补充营养援助计划”11月1日起已暂停发放救济金。作为美国社会保障体系的重要组成部分，“补充营养援助计划”覆盖4200万人，约占全美总人口八分之一，其中大多数人收入低于贫困线。该项目每月支出超过80亿美元。据悉，这是“补充营养援助计划”设立60年来首次停发救济金，以往即便在联邦政府“停摆”期间也没停发过。（央视记者 吴汉婴）
